Dr Nach Daniel
Dr. Daniel earned a bachelor’s degree in Microbiology in 1992 at University of Montreal. He then completed a Master’s degree in Molecular Biology. He then obtained a Doctorate degree in Dental Surgery from the University of Montreal. From there, Dr. Daniel completed a one-year multidisciplinary residency in Dentistry and then started his specialty degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Laval University which he completed in 2006. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dental Specialists of Canada. He then established his private practice of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Moncton and then in Fredericton, specializing in Oral Facial Rehabilitation and Dental Implants.
He has completed advanced training in bone grafting and dental implants (including zygomatic implants) both at the Nobel Biocare Institute in Sweden and the ITI Institute in Switzerland. He currently holds medical staff privileges at the Moncton Hospital where he performs orthognathic and reconstructive surgery as well as treatment of maxillofacial trauma.
He is currently the director of the ECOS Continuing Education Centre providing training in Oral Rehabilitation and Dental Implants. His training facility was recently recognized as one of the North American centers for the All-on-Four technique. In the last 10 years, Dr. Daniel has trained numerous dentist and dental specialist from North America on the All-on-Four technique.
Dr. Daniel is also actively involved in clinical research in collaboration with McGill University and has published numerous scientific articles. Dr. Daniel remains quite involved in the Moncton community and loves to spend time with his family.

Chief Operating Officer
Laurie provides thoughtful direction and maintains a close connection with operational and organizational development activities. She is also engaged in the company’s business planning and development contributing to the company’s significant growth.
Laurie began her career in the dental field, graduating in 1991 with a diploma in Dental Assisting. She has worked in busy group and solo dental practices being introduced to the many facets of dentistry; developing a strong desire for more knowledge and a new interest in the “business of dentistry” receiving a diploma in Business Administration in 2002. After graduating she had the opportunity to be a part-time instructor for a Dental Administration program and worked at Novanet (consortium of libraries) on a distance education pilot project gaining valuable insight into the needs of adult distance learners.
Her career made significant strides after accepting a position working with one of Atlantic Canada’s largest dental lab in 2002 as a continuing education coordinator. Having experience in the dental office environment and a new appreciation for the dental lab’s role in comprehensive dentistry she became instrumental in the development of numerous continuing education seminars. She served as an assistant instructor, event coordinator, became a part of the Cerec Inlab design team and developed The Aesthetic Dental Assistant seminar to support the local industry needs. She was President of NSDAA in 2007/2008, has served on the PDBNS and on a number of committees throughout her career. Hundreds of hours of CE have introduced her to concepts of many industry leaders over the years as she continuously looks for new ways to help the dental team grow.
With a thirst for more and a lucky introduction she was introduced to Dr Nach Daniel, joining his team in 2013. Since this time, Laurie, has assumed a variety of tasks and demonstrated her continued leadership skills in the many areas needed for any start-up company. Together with other team members East Coast Dental Group was formed and has become what it is today!

Dr Christian Chiasson
He is passionate about providing the best quality of care and patient experience by seeking mutually beneficial ways to improve everyone’s experience, and by pursuing his mission to network and build connections amongst the dentists, dental teams and offices . He is part of onboarding initiatives to incorporate new dentists in the teams, helping new graduates to connect with mentorship, as well as experienced dentists to share their knowledge with the group and develop talent.
Dr. Chiasson is experienced in the acquisition process including due diligence and operational integration for new partnerships. He is well versed in the acquisition process, regulatory matters, risk management, group dynamics and provides guidance in the business operations.
He attended the Université de Moncton where he earned a diploma in Health Sciences, then he obtained a Doctorate in Dentistry from the Université Laval in 2000. Dr. Chiasson is proficient in all aspects of general dentistry and regularly attends numerous courses and study clubs on a wide variety of dental topics.
He currently holds privileges at the Moncton Hospital and Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre. He is a member of the Moncton Dental Society, the New Brunswick Dental Society and the Canadian Dental Association. He has seated on the New Brunswick Dental Society’s Discipline Committee and he is an active member of the NBDS’s Economic Committee who establishes the provincial dental fee guide and collaborates to the economic survey. These reports are designed to assist the dentists with the economic aspects of their practice.

He attended the ‘’Université de Moncton’’ for his bachelor’s degree in Marketing and graduated in 2011. He followed that by earning his Master’s degree (MBA) at the ‘’Université de Sherbrooke’’ and ESCEM in Poitiers (France) in International Management in 2012.
J-F has worked with some national and international brands throughout his career. He has a strong understanding of branding, advertising, and marketing in big and small markets. He is responsible for practice development/growth and implementing strategies that will benefit our clinics but also making the patient experience more enjoyable. He is also responsible in organizing all our events company-wide.

Debbie graduated with her nursing degree in 2008 and brings to this position over 18 years experience in healthcare. During these years, Debbie held the following positions: bedside nursing, teaching and management. This was following 7 successful years as a manager and business owner.
Debbie has lived in Fredericton, NB for 40 years and enjoys cycling, hiking, travelling and spending time with her four grandchildren.

Carmen is Executive Assistant at East Coast Dental Group. She brings with her over 15 years of administration experience to the table with vast experience in scheduling and correspondence. She attended Oulton College and graduated from the Medical Office Administration program in 1996. After graduation, she worked as a personal banking officer at RBC Royal Bank from 1996-2009 managing personal banking portfolios. She has since worked in orthodontic and oral surgery offices as an office administrator. In addition to her duties as Executive Assistant, Carmen also enjoys spending as much time as possible with her family.

Training & Development Coordinator
Originally from the Fredericton area, she moved to Ontario and graduated as a dental assistant in 1996. After 1 year of assisting, she made the jump on the administration side of dentistry and had the opportunity to work in Ontario for several large group practices. Over the years, she has done the roles of reception, hygiene co-ordinator, treatment co-ordinator and office manager.
In 2005, she decided to move back to her home province of New Brunswick and started working for Dr. Suzanne Drapeau-McNally in 2010 as Office Manager.
Outside of the workplace, she enjoys spending time with her horse and dog. She also love spending time outdoors and reading.

Vickie obtained her Accounting diploma from Oulton’s Business College and began her accounting career at the offices of Edward R. Fowler, Chartered Accountants. Working in public accounting for Mr. Fowler for 17 years, she gained valuable experience and a solid knowledge base in all aspects of accounting. After leaving the offices of Mr. Fowler, Vickie began working in the accounting department of an automotive parts warehouse, and subsequently as the Staff Accountant for a Moncton based IT company. After 5 years with this group, she returned to public accounting for a short time.
She has volunteered with a local Air Cadet Squadron as Treasurer of the Sponsoring Committee and also held the position of Director of Finance for a local Junior A Hockey Team, with whom she was “billet Mom” to numerous players during a 15 year span.
Her first love is accounting, her second is hockey. It was through her association with the Dieppe Commandos Jr. A Hockey team that she met Dr. Daniel. She began working for Dr. Daniel in 2015 and her adventure in Dentistry began. She learned a lot about this fast paced industry in the first couple years and as the dental network grew, so did her Accounting Team. Together, they created policies and procedures for the day to day financial management of the dental practices.
Vickie is excited to have been a key member in the formation and structuring of East Coast Dental Group and for the growth opportunities available for the Accounting department.

Sr. Accounting Technician
Krista is responsible for the day-to-day accounting needs of the various dental practices. This includes payables, receivables, setting up new accounts and various other duties that facilitate a smooth flowing operation. She is also a support to the accounting manager to aid in whatever area necessary. Krista helps liaise with the dental clinics administrative staff to aid them with questions they may have concerning reporting. Within the scope of her responsibilities is the monthly financial reporting of Revenue & Expenses for all the dental practices with alerts/reasons to anything that falls outside the “norm”. Krista also helps train and orientate any junior team members that come on board. She is detail oriented and results driven so enjoys the problem-solving aspect of her job very much. As new clinics come on board with the company Krista helps facilitate in this area by setting up vendor accounts, sage company files and making sure the receivables reporting is standardized. Krista adapts easily to change which is a great quality because as the company continues to grow, the responsibilities she covers continues to grow with it!
Krista spent many years as a Medical Laboratory Technologist in the hospital and since leaving that field in 2000 she has done many other things that have helped prepare her for the current role she is in. Working as a regional manager for an international weight loss company gave her skills in training, budgeting, financial reporting and effective time management. She also worked as an Executive Director for a not-for-profit agency which gave her many more skills in financial reporting & working with Sage. Her last job before coming to East Coast Dental Group was an office coordinator which included the majority of the financial tasks for that company. During this time, she took formal courses in Excel & Sage Accounting which helped polish the skills she had already acquired.
