East Coast Dental Group (ECDG) is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our head office team! This is a full-time, permanent position that will be based in Moncton, N.B. You will be accountable to:

· Assist the Chief Financial Officer, with building and maintaining a financial planning, reporting, and analysis model

· Assist with the annual budget and monthly financial planning process, prepare management reporting and analysis for review, including metrics, KPI’s and dashboards

· Research and provide explanations for material variances against budget

· Introduce new analysis, reporting formats, etc. which provide insights into different areas of the business

· Leverage analytics and technology to interpret results and articulate recommendations

· Assist with other responsibilities that may arise relating to month-end closing activities, the accounting function and/or accounting policies

· Foster strong relationships with business partners

· Assist with documentation of policies and procedures within the department

· Handle ad hoc reporting requests and participate in projects as required; and

· Consistently look for process improvements and efficiencies using new and existing technologies.

· Assist in development and maintenance of financial models

· Assist in company and M&A related valuations

Your experience includes:

· University degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required

· Professional accounting designation is an asset

· 3-5 years of relevant experience

· Advanced knowledge of financial planning, business processes, budgeting and forecasting

· Superior analytical and problem-solving capabilities

· Impeccable attention to detail

· Resourceful and proactive

· Works effectively in teams

· Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple deadlines and competing priorities

· Provides a high level of customer service to all levels of the business and communicates effectively

· Advanced Excel skills

· Excellent written and oral communication skills

· Prior experience with ERPs, Power BI, financial analytics, or similar would be an asset.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $64,798.00-$100,642.00 per year

Additional pay:

  • Bonus pay
