East Coast Dental Group (ECDG) is currently seeking a Bilingual Human Resources Generalist to join our growing team!  This is a permanent, full-time position, based in our brand-new office in Dieppe, NB.

ECDG is excited about its next growth phase and is looking for a dynamic Bilingual Human Resources Generalist with a strong background in Talent Acquisition.

Our current vision for this role is that the Bilingual Human Resources Generalist will divide their time between Talent Acquisition (70%) and HR Generalist (30%) duties.

What you will do:

Reporting to the Director of People and Culture, the successful candidate will help lay the groundwork to support ECDG’s growth and transformation by acquiring the best people in the industry, building relationships with both students and future candidates. This role will be responsible for engaging the most qualified and experienced professionals in the industry through multiple and varying creative avenues while understanding the dynamic hiring needs of each Dental Practice.

In addition, the successful candidate will work to create and implement standardized HR processes, policies, and programs that drive organizational effectiveness, employee performance, and engagement.

As a trusted advisor to the business, you will ensure that all HR policies and programs are effectively carried through to our internal teams and maintained for relevance and accuracy.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition in partnership with business leaders
  • Develop and execute a recruitment strategy that ensures consistent team performance and provides a sustainable talent bench for business growth
  • Campus Recruitment, Dental Association Relationship Development, Immigration Activities and Community Outreach Event Planning
  • The subject matter expert on matters regarding recruitment process, candidate markets, and competitive intelligence
  • Create and implement standardized HR processes, policies, and programs that drive organizational effectiveness, employee performance, and engagement
  • Participate in activities to maintain a healthy and productive work environment
  • Work with internal teams and external HR partners to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, and company policies
  • Manage employee queries, and other general day-to-day HR related requests

What we require:

  • Language: Bilingual
  • A people first disposition with the ability to comprehend operational outcomes of people and culture policies and programs
  • Post secondary education in a related field
  • 2+ yrs. Talent Acquisition experience
  • Immigration experience (asset)
  • HR Generalist experience (asset)
  • Attention to detail and passion for accuracy
  • Ability to work and handle confidential information with diplomacy and tact
  • Self-starter, able to effectively prioritize key tasks and deliverables with limited day-to-day direction
  • Superior interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Solutions-driven thinker
